Hi
I am plotting this combo bar chart, where the 2 amount fields are getting plotted on Y-axis against the unique number of X.
The underline data is for multiple dates, so if users selects more than one date, the amount columns are displaying the sum of it, which is okay. but the problem is total is displayed in a single color whereas i want it to display different color for the total by date.
Date | Unique ID | Amount A | Amount B |
12/31/2018 | 1568 | 31,200,000 | 31,200,000 |
12/31/2018 | 1584 | 15,000,000 | 15,000,000 |
12/31/2018 | 24783 | 15,000,000 | 15,000,000 |
12/31/2018 | 16217 | 14,400,000 | 14,400,000 |
09/30/2018 | 1568 | 20,800,000 | 20,800,000 |
09/30/2018 | 1584 | 10,000,000 | 10,000,000 |
09/30/2018 | 24783 | 10,000,000 | 10,000,000 |
09/30/2018 | 16217 | 9,600,000 | 9,600,000 |
As you can see, the graph is displaying total for both the dates, across each unique ID whereas I am trying to get to split each bar into 2 colors, one for every unique date. Something like below
Appreciate your inputs and help on this ..
you looking for two stack for 1 dimension
try to have two separate charts
another way is concatenate date and ID, it is better , user can see date as well
it's very important that two different measures for the given dimension to be plotted side by side.
