Combine the two dimensions into one

HI Team,

I have 4 fields like below 

month/year,

region,

product,

sales.

If have written the one expression like below 

sum(total<[month/year]>{<product={'Apple'}>}(sales))  based  on the expression i am getting the below results which are correct 

 v

Now my requirement is i want to combine the month/year field and region filed into one.

i have done the combination of the  two dimension and i have used the below  expression 

sum(total<monthregion>{<product={'Apple'}>}(sales))

now iam getting the below output which is not same compared with above table.

Here monthregion field is the combination of the month/year and region fileds

How to get the same values ?
