DIRECT QUERY CONNECT FAILED

Hello!

    I' m trying to use direct query in Qlik Sense ( ...first try).

    The problem is that if I execute via reload button in the script editor, everything works, but when I go to the App

I get the message "connection failed". on every chart that uses measure fields from that query .

The same query copied in a qvw in Qlik 11 works in both cases.

Any help ?

Hi, I got exactly the same issue. No idea why loadscripts succeed but charts fail.

I find it really hard to advise on load issues without any script or log references.

Are you using desktop client or server side authoring?

Do you see a direct table in data model viewer?

Did your reload load any values into direct table?

How have you setup your visualizations?

Are dimensions from direct table or other table?

What aggregation are you performing?
