Exchange Rates

Hi all community

l have this Sales list of many countrys, all sales are in their own currency, so l want to know if is possible with a function or something, to get the exchange rate and got that conversion to USD.

for example:

Vietnam sales is in Vietnam Dong so l want to get actual exchange rate and convert to usd

Until now l only see the option of API connection but i dont know if is the only way to do it or there are another options

There are are sites that already have this data that you can download as CSV files. Below are a few examples. Then simply load into an application and create a QVD file that you would be able to utilize for any of your other applications that needs it.

I recommended the download method since it seems from your example you only need the data annualy as opposed to daily. If you need daily mentory conversions then an API approach might be the best plan so you can pull daily. But even with that approach, I would have 1 Qlik application that pulls the data and then Incrementally goes and gets the new dates only and combines the data.
