Field event trigger possibility in Qlik Sense

I want to use field event trigger to set a variable in Qliksense..can someone help me with this..if there is any workaround possible for the same.

You can try Vizlib Filter and use the Vizlib Actions function. After a selection you set actions to follow. Check out: www.vizlib.com.
