Hello all,
Hi I have tried looking through all the error complaints for upgrading or installing Qlik sense but none has seemed to work for me.
I have tried the using the method described in this post QlikSense Desktop Installation stuck at "Staging" and Qlik Sense Installation error and even trid uninstalling the 1.1.0.0 still ran into trouble with that. I tried deleting all leftover folders and apps in every nook and crany of the system but still havent found away to rectify. I gave and even tried reinstalling the earlier version still no luck......
Please any help from Qlik support on why a sinmple upgrade from a working existing Application version to a latest version could be this tough! QlikView is way easy in achieving this....
Please help!!!'
Attached her the Installation log files

Seems I finally figured it out....my PC was active under a domain...and had to tell our systems administrator to remove the system to test.....apparently it worked!
Though we found this amusing because we had tried running the installation on the PC system as a local administrator and even raised the user profiles to possess administrative rights, all these never worked!
Also I have been upgrading QlikView on this same machine without any of the above issues....pondering what might have caused it....maybe because QlikSense is free for now or some form of free license abuse??? Really can't say but will still love Qlik Support to explicitly provide what may cause such cases.....

Did you run the installer as administrator? (Right clic --> run as administrator)
