Hello everyone,
I was working on an application on desktop version 3.1 SR4, and I needed to use some expressions I used in a similar application I did back in the days of 2.2; but the problem is, when I load that old application; stuff works, with correct coloring and all, *but I cannot see the expressions I wrote before*...
I'm too old / lazy / frustrated to try to get them right again; so how can I see what I wrote?
Is there a 2.2 desktop version lying around somewhere that I can install, do I have to do that to access the expressions, and would I even be able to access them at all?
Thanks for all the input, urgent help would be very much appreciated.
Cheers,
Adam
I feel your pain...
I've had similar issues in the full QS server version as well. Luckily I've had the 2.2 version installed on one of the "old" DEV servers.
Looks like the the problem was fixed in 3.2 SR1 release (in server version). Didn't check the Desktop version though...
You can always get the old release from Qlik Downloads site, so you can try to install an old version if 3.2 does not work...

Thank you, Vladimir,
I found a 2.2 laying around somewhere, but it was 'expired', but 3.2 should do it, then.
You saved me a lot of headache, thanks a lot!

Hi! Looks like your problem was already solved, but another way to investigate the properties of your objects is to use the tool "Qlik Explorer for Developers". That tool will allow you to navigate to the object in question and inspect the expression. More information about that tool (and links to download) can be found here:
