How to access qlik sense hub for external user?

Hi,

I have installed qlik sense server in Domain:A; I have successfully imported some of the external users from Domain:B via Excel ODBC.

1. I am unable to see the those imported user list in Qlik sense QMC

2. When a user from Domain:B is try to access qlik sense hub its asking username and password,so which user name and password user has to give.

User list in Excel:

userid,name

167234,suman

userid,type,value

167234,email,167234@xxx.com

167234,group,htmts

Hi Silambarasan,

If your user from active directory B can access Qlik sense window server then only your user from domain B can access HUB. I am not talking about RDP access but have read access on window machine(Qlik Sense installed). Bringing user infor from excel odbc just bring meta data , it will not let your user access hub.It needs any user identity management program which can auth your user from AD. I believe one domain has one domain controller. I am not sure how you are using domain B with Qlik server ?

Thanks,

Rohit

In our organization all employees are login their laptop/system/HUB/RDP of other server(eg 10.0.0.1 ) using same credential  (eg. bbb@A.com and password).

We have installed our Qlik sense server in different server space (eg IP : 10.0.0.0  and domain name: B.com)

Now, employees are not login using 10.0.0.0 using bbb@A.com.

They are login using this server(10.0.0.0 ) user login (eg., ccc@B.com )

I have imported all our employee login credential in qlik sense QMC

eg:  bbb@A.com,

       ccc@B.com

I think your scenario is:

two domain controllers, one for domain A and one other for domain B.

you installed Qlik Sense Server on Domain A.

Now, if you want to grant access to domain B users I think you should have a SSO.

For our customer I implemented a solution with web ticketing, take a look here https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense/September2018/Subsystems/PlanningQlikSenseDeployments/Content/Sens...

I hope it can help you.
