How to migrate from Qlik View to Qlik Sense?

Hello Qlik Geeks,

I am planning to migrate Qlik View apps to Qlik Sense. I have used multiple functions in building QV apps and also have Qlik NPrinting on-demand for all my apps. May I know if there are any limitations in Qlik Sense (Business /Saas) comapred to QlikView and also steps to follow for migrating QV to QS?

My Current Qlik View and Qlik NPrinting versions

Thank you in Advance,

CVR

Hello ,
Below are some resources provide the tools , limitations and process for consideration when migrating Qlikview App to Qlik Sense App. Also there are limitations that will apply to Nprinting as far Qlik Sense app are concerned.

Hello CVR,

NPrinting cannot be connected to Qlik Cloud, instead you need to explore the Qlik Reporting Service:

Qlik Reporting Service, a new approach to report d... - Qlik Community - 1870023

The Qlik Reporting Service as well as the Automations on Qlik Cloud bring s a lot of new functionalities and use cases.

Qlik Application Automation ‒ Qlik Cloud

Also on the unsupported QlikView items on Qlik Sense:

QlikView functions and statements not supported in Qlik Sense ‒ Qlik Cloud

Also have a look at the Migration Center:

Cheers,

Albert

Thank you for the above information.  Can you please also share any articles regarding Qlik NPrinting on-demand reporting limitations in Qlik Sense Business vs Qlik Sense Saas?

There is also an automated migration service for Qlik that I can recommend using. You just had to connect to both your on-prem environment and the cloud tenant, and then select the stuff you wanted to migrate. Extremely easy and a big timesaver.

Link to migration service is here: Qloud Cover Migration
