IP access security rule issue

HI Qliker,

I'm trying to implement IP level access for a particular stream. I followed the steps given in the link below:

I'm testing the security rule with the different network by accessing QS public IP. I couldn't reach the QS IP.

Then I unselect the option in advanced tab, Extended security environment which is mentioned in step 5. I could reach the QS IP.

Should I need to disable any default security rule??

I have already written my security rule by disabling the default rule for sheet level access to the application published in the stream(To my knowledge, it should be a problem).

Please help on this!!!!!!!!!

Hi Mohan,

Add White list as Your IP address in Proxy address like below

Go to Start->Virtual Proxies->Central Proxy->Edit->Advance

add Host White List

Check using IP instead of your domain Name.

Whitelisting the NT name or public IP is to provide the gateway to for QS users. My requirement is to allow all users to connect QS but restrict the user access to stream based on the network they are.

Steps to achieve it is totally available in the mentioned link.
