Dear Manasi, what exactly do you want to do?

All codes and document structure are saved in a Qlik Solution, instead of a txt or some database.

If you want o control version, there´re products who work exactly with this feature, and Team Foundation Server could control.

Please, just describe your requirements.

You want to add QS hub into Teams web page tab? Do you have any error message? Have you tried with desktop or web app?

I know this is an old topic now, but if you are still looking for Qlik Sense to Team integration then you may find my latest blog post to your interest.

https://kabonline.net/2019/05/03/qlik-load-script-alerts-to-microsoft-teams/

It covers how to send alerts to teams channel using webhook from Qlik Sense. But this can be extended further using visual extensions.

Theres also the way to display sigle object/mashup/even the hub on teams as a tab in teams (like a website). Let me know exactly what you are trying to achieve and I will look into it for you.

Hello,

I saw your blog post and I was wondering if you can expand on this part: "Theres also the way to display sigle object/mashup/even the hub on teams as a tab in teams (like a website). Let me know exactly what you are trying to achieve and I will look into it for you."

I am trying to figure out if we can display a Qlik Sense dashboard in a Teams channel.

I'd also be happy to speak on the phone if you have the time!

Best,

Anna

Hi @annajdailey - You can do the following to view the dashboard in teams channel as a tab.

  1. Navigate to the channel you want to add the dashboard to.
  2. Click on the add Tab (+) icon at the top of the window.
  3. Search and select "Website".
  4. In next screen -
    1. Give a name for the tab, ex - Sales Dashboard.
    2. Type in the URL for the dashboard you want to display there. ex - https://[SERVERNAME]/sense/app/[APPID]
      • You can be more creative and use "Single Configurator" in dev-hub and display just one sheet or even a specific object with number of options.
      • ex - if you are trying to display a sheet with no selection bar or interactions, essentially a static dashboard - you can set all your options in https://[SERVERNAME]/dev-hub/single-configurator/
      • And that should give you an URL and iframe code. Use the URL from there and paste it into the teams url field.

This should allow viewing of dashboard in Teams. Please note - users will need to sing-in as usual when viewing the tab. This might not be any concern if you have Single Sign On or using Windows authentication and have the correct set up.

Hope this helps. Drop me a PM if you need any further help with this, and I am happy to arrange a call.

Kabir

Hello everyone, do you know if there is a possibility to add a file saved in MS Teams (so in a cloud) to QlikSense as a source of data?

Thanks

Nat

@s_kabir_rab  I am trying to integrate qlik sense with MS Teams using Tab (designed using app manifest) with SSO. But somehow its stuck in authentication loop (between qlik sense and teams). Do you happen to know any workaround or solution to this.
