Map Chart in Qliksense

Hi All,

I am trying to build Point Map  in Qliksense Nov 2018 Enterprise Server version but in my case background map image is not visible. Please any one help here or give me suggestions to fix it .

Let me know in case of any prerequisite to setup to  build the map chart.

Hi,
Is the Qlik Sense server can access the Internet ?
The background layer is downloaded from an Internet server.

Thanks for reply.

I do not think internet is enabled on the Qliksense Server as both client and server are installed on the virtual server.

Is internet is necessary to enable on the Qliksense Server or is there any alternative to do it.

If I am installed Qliksense desktop on my local machine it should works . Please correct me if am wrong?

hi 

when you working with maps , the background map is drawn in the client side , so the users will need access to the internet and not the qlik sense server . 

if everything need to work offline , then you can use qlik geoanalytics enterprise

What do you mean by users will need access to the Internet. I am using Qlik enterprise version and accessing through IE browser and building the map in same session window.
Please clarify it.

Hi,

The map is downloaded on Internet.

It's not store on the Qlik Sense Server.

The Qlik Sense April 2019 release permits you to display an image as bakground.
