I am working on making a basic map that shows how many accounts I have that are in each state.
I started by using the GeoMakePoint function as a master item and tried dragging and dropping it onto the map and then adding the Count of my account names on top of that, but that did not work. I also tried using the GeoMakePoint function with longitude and latitude in the script doing all the same things, and that also did not work.
Can anyone help me?
Hi Erica,
Attached is a very simple example that uses GeoMakePoint in the script. You then drag the calculated field onto the map as a point. From there you can add your measure either from the panel or master items. In the sample the count is a master item.
If you save the model to the desktop you can then drag it onto the Qlik Sense window to open it.
For reference I am using Qlik Sense version 2.
Hope this helps.

Thank you, but for some reason I cannot open the file so I cannot see what it says.
Hi Erica,
Are you using the latest release (version 2) of Qlik Sense?
I have reattached the file again just in case it was corrupted the first time.
Hope this helps.
