Measures in Filter

Hi all,

Could you please assist on how to create a filter with measures?

I have a line chart with "Date" in Dimentions and 5 different Measures. I would like to be able to make selection on a single or couple of these Measures. I have tried with variables and vclick but I can only select one Measure at a time.

@YiannisK, I think you need to look at the problem for an other angle.

normally you use a dimension in a filter. in this case you have your date as an filter and select this.

because of Qlik's associative model, you will see all the messures associated with the date (or muliple dates) you select.

never the less you can add multiple filters within 1 filter object and this also can be messures (sometimes) but this is not a good idea because you are then creating some sort of calculated dimension. those are heavy on the front end and will slow down your app quite a lot (if there are lot's of calulations or a lot of data in it)

to answer you question a bit better:

what you can do is add the year field to a filterbox and select 1 or 2 years. the graph will update to the selected year values and also the associated messures

Maybe I didn't express my issue correctly. I do have filters on years etc but I would like to be able to select the measures also, i.e Test or Test1 and Test2 and have visible only the specific lines and not all together.
