Hi all,
Here's a good question: On a Qlik Sense sheet, is there any way to have an image switch or be linked/associated with a particular selection?
In the screenshot below, I've been working on a making a Qlik Sense resume-type app, and for my little "extracurricular activity" tab, I thought it would be really neat to show data from some scuba dives. For example, depth and water temperature typically get logged by your dive computer.
However, is there a way to have a photo (or preferably two), as shown below switch depending on which dive is selected in the filter pane?
This may help you Garrett,
I'm not sure if this works in Qlik Sense,
Please try and let me know
Hi Vineeth,
Thanks for the quick reply. But, it looks like the "Bundle" prefix is not supported in Qlik Sense, at this time according to Qlik Sense 3.2 Online Help --> https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense/3.2/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Scripting/QlikView-functions-statements...
Maybe they'll find a way to get it in next version.

Hi Shiva,
That's really neat. Looks like MediaBox is a plugin available on Qlik Branch that allows you to include inline HTML in your text/image object. By doing that, you can include a reference to IMG tag or even a YouTube video, etc. Direct link:
Qlik Branch (link to MediaBox plugin)
Will mark this as Correct answer, and will try to post a screenshot once working.
Thanks!

Hi Sumit,
It looks like this option only works for Qlik Sense Desktop & Qlik Server.
But, since Qlik Cloud doesn't support extensions, at least for now, there doesn't appear to be that option. ...In this case, since I was trying to set this up for Cloud, might be stuck and will have to use a workaround.
Thanks,
-Garrett
I am able to use this extension and change accordingly with the selection on Qliksense Desktop.
But I am unable to use in Qlik Server.
May I know the exact path for the extension to work on Server.
My images is stored on C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Repository\Content\Images\abc.png

Kavita
Did you ever build this app? As a Qlikkie and avid diver, I would love to see this.
