Publish Sheet

Hi,

I´d like to publish private sheets to let them appear as community sheet, but the context menu doesn´t show me the option "Publish sheet".

Some hints:

- I´m using QS November 2017 Patch 1

- All security rules of type "Default" and "Read only" are active, means not disabled

- The app which is used for testing was a published app to a stream.

- Even a user with RootAdmin role can´t see the context menu item to publish a sheet

Does anybody know how to enable publishing a sheet?

Unfortunately this is not as easy as it maybe should be.

We currently only have developers.  So when an app is updated we simply publish the entire new app replacing the existing app.

Take a look at this other thread.  Maybe it will help you.

What needs to be done to get the context menu option to publish sheets?

I just tested this on one of my apps and it worked fine.

The dashboard must be published for this to work. 

If you click on the button on top left you have an option to publish sheet.  If you don't see that option then have you possibly changed any security rules in your system?

It´s a little bit odd, but you need to have publish permissions for the stream, to be able to publish a sheet within an app of the stream.
