I have Qlik Sense June 2020 installed. In the QMC > Tasks Grid the "Status" column never gets updated. I refresh using the refresh icon on the grid toolbar as well as refreshing the browser but the status never changes. A "manual "reload task does work but the grid never updates its status. The only way I can get the new status is to go into the computers services and restart the repository service. The grid gets updated restarting the service.
I have a dedicated user service account, set as a RootAdmin in Qlik, added to the Administrators, Performance Monitor Users, Qlik Sense Service Users and Users groups. I added the user specifically to the Shared folder with full permissions as well as made sure the service user has full access to the %ProgramData%\Qlik folder and subdirectories.
I have a 1 node setup and a full license, not a trial.
I am hoping this issue is related to another one of my issues where scheduled reload tasks NEVER run, Only manual.
Hopefully this sounds familiar to someone.
Thanks for any insight!!
Hey there @preisinger ,
I've found a similar issue after upgrading to September 2020: Qlik Sense - Tasks in QMC are not updated to show correct status after upgrade to Qlik Sense Septemb...
I'm not sure if in June 2020 Patch 5 the same optimization have been introduced (I remember that they used to do so in previous releases)... I would suggest a check
I hope this helps,
Riccardo

Hi,
We have also experienced this issue after upgrading Sep 20 but if user has root admin role, user could displayed task's status successfully. If user has not this role, task page required to open new web page then display again task's new status succesfully. Can it be related with user role?
Hello, we have Qlik Sense May 2021, this issue occurs as well here with users who don't have RootAdmin role. Anyone any ideas?
