Qlik Sense migration to AWS

Hello,
we need to migrate a qlik sense server that we have on a windows server 2019 to an AWS instance.
There is a lot of information about it but nothing concise and that is why I wanted to ask the community.

Could someone tell me what things should i know for the migration (it is a server with 256 GB of RAM and 2 Tb of storage), to migrate it to AWS.
and if possible, which AWS instance would you recommend.
Thanks in advance!

Hello @migueldolo

did you see this document https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge/Qlik-Sense-on-AWS-Deployment-Guide/ta-p/1716117

This one lists

Choose the Instance Type.

Qlik runs best on memory optimized instances, such as the R5series.

Choose one of the following 3 instances which are a recommended starting point:

-R5a.xlarge is a good choice with 4 cores / 32GB RAM

-R5a.2xlarge is a good choice with 8 cores / 64GB RAM

-R5a.4xlarge is a good choice with 16 cores / 128GB RAM

Since this one was from 2019, of course its only a guidance but if you have one with 256GB RAM that would be fine alternatively split it into 2 nodes with 128 and attach a large AWS Fsx storage if you need 2TB of Diskspace. https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge/AWS-FSx-As-File-Share-for-Qlik-Sense-Enterprise-on-Windows/t...
