Qlik sense adding users without an active directory connector

Hi I am all new to Qlik - can we add users without an active directory connector? What is the easiest way step by step to set this up - what do we need to set this up?

one user group ;QlikAdministrator

add user to that group

Qlik usergroup as well

Where is that? In qmc - which actions to take?

The directory connection can load users from data sources other than AD (other directory services, a database, or Excel/text files), or none at all.

If you don't load users from a directory connector, then users can only be added by each user trying to connect to the hub. The connection will fail, but the login will be added to the users so you can now assign a license and the user should then be able to connect

The documentation outlines the information you need in the database tables or files if you want to use one of these as a directory source.

Thanks - i tried to login to our hub it says user is not verified yet. But after that logging in the qmc I do not see that user added anywhere - in the list of users I see only see the admin as internal user which is the one at installation set up and the internal one see screenshot.

What do you mean by qlik sense server - you mean qmc?
