It depends on the the data and the requirements of the views if this data-model is suitable or not. Difficulties could occur by:
- if a case-id isn't unique in regard to further data, for example if a case-id is overlapping to multiple products, countries, periods or similar fields
- if there are missing key-values across the tables
- how to connect common dimension-tables without creating synthetic keys and/or circular references
Officially recommended is to develop a data-model as a star-scheme as best compromise of simplicity and performance.
