Restricting Server Folder Access

Hello Experts,

When accessing the hub outside the server and navigating to add data/file locations/shared folders, the actual D:, C:, and E: drives of the server are visible. How can I hide or restrict user access to these server folders? Please provide suggestions.

Please help!!

Thank you!

you want to create a new datafolder or change the current one in the QMC

for example I have a root folder with folders in them C:, F:, E:

Root:

|______ C:

|______ F:

|______ E:

then instead of giving Qlik the root path add root/C: as a path.

with this you lock the users out of folders E:, and F:and there can only use C:

Hi @MartW ,

I want to restrict user accessing any of the QlikSense Server file location. Except the root admins.  Do you know how to perform this?

Thank you!

@Puru, do you mean that you want users and rootadmins accessing the windows machine where Qlik Sense is installed?

or do you mean the access part of Qlik in general.
