I am not clear on what you are trying to do.
Is this error generated when you try to save the rule? What exactly are you doing when you get it?
assign root admin to user and try again..
Hi
Root admin works ok, but i do not want to give root admin because they only have to see some specific session
thanks
Mark how are you?
I create the new rule, i can create a stream but not assing anybody to my new stream
when i try to assing some user, i have this error
thanks
So are you saying that you add the user to the rule but they can not access the stream?
Or are you saying that you can not add them to the rule?
If you are trying to create a rule that gives users access to certain streams, have you thought about this.
Create a Custom Property and assign that to the Streams. Add your values for the stream names to this property.
Then create a security rule that checks the user for one of these values and if there is a match then they can see the stream.
This is our rule:
((user.@StreamAccess=resource.@StreamAccess))
The custom property is called StreamAccess and is setup to work with Streams and Users in the check boxes.
This is very simple and easy to maintain.
