Select Field when activating a Sheet

Good Morning all,

I have a question about applying a selection to a field when a sheet is opened.

I have a field called CalanderMonthAndYear on a sheet which controls the date range in a report, this sheet is opened by a button on the Main screen.

What I would like to do is select the current Month and Year when this sheet is activated. I believe this will be under  the Triggers for the button, but I can't work out what it is.

Any help would be great.

There are couple of methods:

1. Set bookmark for the specific selection.  Setting a default bookmark to create an app landing page - Qlik Sense

2. Use Adding actions to sheets.  Select "Select values in a field" action on the sheet properties and define the field values.  

3. You can use Set Analysis as well.  Apply default filter (today) on Sense application
