Sharepoint List connection to QLIKSENSE

Hi there,

I have a restricted sharepoint list that I need to set connections to QLIKsense.
Due to restrictions to the Sharepoint list, QLIK is unable to stablish a connection.

Could anyone suggest best way forward?
My guess is that I need to add QLIK to the sharepoint access users?
I have not got a clue!

Thanks a million for your support on this!

Regards

Jose

Almen,

thanks for your reply. Due to Sharepoint been access restricted, QLIK is not able to stablish connection.

I need to tell Sharepoint to allow QLIK access.

Hope this makes sense?

Even though you have to establish the connection with your sharepoint account which should have access to the sharepoint?

QLIK connector is able to connect to my sharepoint but cannot see the list due to being restricted.

Only way is to remove list restrictions, then I can see list and set-up connections.

Because of the nature of the data, this has to be kept restricted. 😞

I seem to recall that Qlik uses whichever Credentials you supply to access SharePoint?

I had troubles too, I ended up adding my OneDrive for business account on my qlik server and then syncing the directories I needed to that computer...

Hi both,

I did managed to resolve this issue.

When setting connection, QLIK requires and user account.
I was allowed to add this account to Sharepoint restrictions and worked fine.

🙂
