I am having some trouble understanding sorting logic in Qlik sense. Many a times I have observed that qlik sense desktop app randomly sorts my data (I am sure there is a reason and it just seems random to my untrained eyes). Could someone help understand this behavior. Here are a sample scenarios, would appreciate any explanation behind this behavior.
This table is sorted on Staff Member column and is built by concatenating columns 'SatffMember' and 'EmployeeID'
Your image is too small... It's practically unwatchable..
You can always check the sorting "logic" in the properties of the chart, under the sort tab
Looks like it's sorted on row number and usually as a default it uses the first measure ascending.
If you want to use other columns you can reorder in the sorting section of your chart/table.
If you want to sort on dimension an use sort by expression and set this to staff member and you will get the appearance you are looking for.
