Success reload task but no data showing

Hi Qlik Support Team,

We would like to raise this issue we encountered in our PROD environment. Upon completion of synching the report, no data was showing on the sheets of the report, even in the task success. Also on the logs, it shows that reports fetch data. I attached the script we deploy.

Please have a quick response on this. It was a blocker for our users.

Thank you.

Hi @RA06

  • Was it verified the data was available at the time the reload occurred? It could be just the data was not available at that time and when the second reload was executed manually the new data was available.

  • Verify or double-check if the app you are realoading is the same, maybe the task is reloading an app with the same name in the local stream of another user.
  • Also, in ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Script you can look the id of the app that has been reloaded, to confirm is the same as the expected app. In the upper right corner of the app list in qmc you can select the ID column to be shown.
  • There is a log in ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Script for the time the task was executed automatically?

The ServiceAccount security rule should give access to the 'sa*' user to do all actions in both hub and qmc, is this rule active?

Let us know if this works for you.

Thanks,

Padma Priya

Hello @RA06,

To me, This seems to be related to section access, please check if in some other section of your script is a “section access“ and  “section application” instructions.

Take a look to the following link

hope this helps,

Hi Priya,

Please see the feedbacks below:

  • Was it verified the data was available at the time the reload occurred? It could be just the data was not available at that time and when the second reload was executed manually the new data was available.- Yes, it was confirmed that data was available at that time. The synching was scheduled every 1AM. Upon checking, no data was showing in the sheet; we also tried to manually load it, but it had the same output.

  • Verify or double-check if the app you are realoading is the same, maybe the task is reloading an app with the same name in the local stream of another user.-Is this considered the same name as "PROD-CTR No Low Risk ORT" = "PROD-CTR No Low Risk old? Because the first one is the one we are currently using, we didn't delete the old app that we used before. But the PROD-CTR No Low Risk ORT was the only one that reloaded every day.

  • Also, in ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Script you can look the id of the app that has been reloaded, to confirm is the same as the expected app. In the upper right corner of the app list in qmc you can select the ID column to be shown.

-Can you elaborate on this. Are you referring on this?

           Also this for the qmc?

  • There is a log in ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Script for the time the task was executed automatically?- Yes, scripts are available, and they also state that they are finished with no errors.

  •

The ServiceAccount security rule should give access to the 'sa*' user to do all actions in both hub and qmc, is this rule active?

    - Yes RA06_4-1681783920345.pngRA06_5-1681783924945.png

Please help us resolve this. This problem has already occurred three times. We just do a workaround to rename the qvd and reload all the data again.

Thank you so much for your help.

Hi @RafaelBarrios,

Currently, we don't have  this “section access“ and  “section application” in any of our scripts.

Any other recommendation?

Thank you.
