Take a % of a sale to the following month

Hello, Everyone.

Can I ask a question about this topic ,   I need an expression that allows me to carry a % of the sale of one month to the next month. For example, 100 usd in January that appears on February 40 .  (40%)

I tried in script with Addmonths but not work

Thanks

Hello Vinieme

I have the sales field that by default in the month of January 2023 has an amount of 100, what I want is to create another field of the prorated sale style that in February of the following month takes a % of the sale of the previous month, for example 40 %

Default:

Sum(Sales)

January-2023:  100

February-2023:  100

Expected:

Sum(Sales)

addmonth(Sum(Sales)*0.4),1)

January-2023:  60

February-2023:  140
