Unable to add data.

Hi,

I have installed Qlik Sense Desktop. Home page of Qlik Sense Desktop is blank(as shown in Picture 1). I have tried adding dataset by using add dataset(as shown in Picture 2), but it is not adding. Can anyone help.

if you click on create new analitical app (screenshot 2 a bit above the red circle)

then a new page will open. there you got 3 options 

if you click on add data from files and other sources. can you add the data you tried to add over there?

I have used it as well but not able to get anything. Still it is showing the blank Home. As shown in picture.

but are you able to create a new app? and if so can you open set app?

I am unable to use any of the option present in Home page.
