Use App name in URL instead of App ID?

Hello,

Is there a way to have the URL use the app name instead of the app id?

For example, instead of the URL being in the format of http://server/sense/app/1aaaa11a-a1111-1aa1-1111-1a11a11aaaa1

it would be http://server/sense/app/MyApp1 and similarly with the sheet name instead of the sheet id.

Wouldn't think you can as you can have multiple apps with the same name on the server, whereas the ID is always unique.

Search community for "redirect URL". I'm using this approach for QlikView and I believe the similar one can be configured for Qlik Sense.

Dear Hannah,

   It´s a default and embedded configuration because like was mentioned, at Qlik Sense can exists a lot of applications with the same name.

It would be a nice feature to have to be able to give it a friendly name.  Even if you have apps with the same names, you could alias the URLs to be different.
