What is the best chart for one dimension and two measures?
Hi,
We have to create one chart which would be very easy for user to interact with it. As per our requirement we have almost 2000 people and for each person there are 2 values/measure (planned and realized).
Please find the sample table below:
UserId | Planned | Realized |
User1 | 4 | 3 |
User2 | 5 | 1 |
User3 | 34 | 8 |
User4 | 7 | 4 |
User5 | 8 | 6 |
User6 | 9 | 3 |
User7 | 7 | 9 |
User8 | 77 | 9 |
User9 | 3 | 6 |
User10 | 5 | 99 |
User11 | 87 | 66 |
User12 | 9 | 45 |
I have created one bar chart with one dimension and 2 measures as below, but here we have huge horizontal scroll and that is not readable.
Can anybody provide me the suggestion that as per requirement what chart would be the best fit?
Thanks

I think I wouldn't use a bar-chart to display 2000 dimension-values else I would probably visualize it with 3 objects - one table, a histogram and a scatter-chart by basing them on the difference or the ratio between planned and realized.
