What kind of data do I need to use the map application in QlikSense?

I have region specific data that I would like to display in Qlik Sense maps.   My data provides names of states and MSAs.   Is there a way to enter this data into the Map app?

You'll definitely need the coordinates of the cities, something that you can find on the internet.

And then, you'll have to create the Map points by using the geomakepoint() function in your script, in your coordinates table.
