When I select a monthyear value in a filter I want the selection to include all the previous values

HI Devs,

I have a complex report ready and I have a monthyear filter.

When I select a particular MonthYear value in the filter, I want the selection to include all the previous MonthYear values upto the current selection.

ex: My MonthYear filter has values Dec-2019,Nov-2019,Oct-19,Sep-19,......starting from Jan-2013

When I select Oct-19 in my filter, all the MonthYear values from Jan-2013 to Oct-19 should be selected.

I do not wish to change anything on my pivot table report. 

Is there a way to way to achieve this using filters alone?

Would the logic used here Previous 7 days data when a date is selected apply to your need?
