format number blank separator

dears,

I need to create a blank space in the number formatting like this

original 18758  -> 18 758

original 1456 ->  1 456

original 123555.12 - > 123 555.12

thanks

Enrico

Try it with: num(MyNumber, '# ###.##', '.', ' ')

thanks Marcus but it doesn't work

Is your value a number or a string? It's a string it would be needed to convert it before applying the formatting, maybe like:

num(num#(MyNumber, 'FormatPattern'), '# ###.##', '.', ' ')

Hi Marcus is still not working

marcus_sommer

What happens or does not happens? Any error? For all values or only to certain ones? And what - the recognition as number or only the formatting-part?

I see that every number is still not formatting with space.

This table has own formatting-settings. You need there to choose the wanted format-pattern or to discard each and displaying the load-formatting respectively enabling an format-expression like the above shown.
