qlik sense Dynamic image change

Hi Guys,

Just a quick question Is it possible to display image dynamically in a text box or someother charts.

I have image in local file path I dont have web based url for the image.

when I click a car model in filter pane the respective image should display in it.

note:- I am using qlik sense version 2020

Hi,

Yes, it is possible. I had tried to achieve something similar. You will have to import all the necessary Images in the media library of the dashboard first & use the following image extension. The extension is quite an old one, I don't know if it will be compatible with your qlik version.

when I import the file in my qmc I am getting error

Failed to import extensions.Please check the log file

Yeah, seems like it is not compatible with your version of qlik. I'll see if i can find a similar extension. Else if any other work around is present.

You can try 2 options.

1. Containers - you can place all your text box with image inside a container and control it using show condition.

2. Since you mentioned 2020 you may not have Layout Container, if in case available you can refer to below.

If I use 1st condition how should I connect the image with my data because I dont have url for the image.

should I insert the image in qmc and link it with the data than use if condition ?

Hi I create one example long time ago for dynamic change images with straight table and some css. Please check the example maybe you will find some idea how to resolving your problem. Thank you
