show a default value in a filter

Hello I have a date filter and and I need to show a fix value so the user doesn't has to pick up the date.

the default value is the last database loading. I have this date but I can't set it as default value in the filter

thanks but I can't get it working. If I type =max (date) in the search filter  it will show all the possible date

Hi,

if [Event Date] is your date field this should work:

=[Event Date]=Max(total [Event Date])
