Currency Conversion query

Hi All,

Please help me for the below scenario.

From currency	To-currency	Valid from	Indirect quoted exchange rate	Amount DC	DocCurr
BRL	EUR	26.06.2014	2.9900000000000	62075 USD's	USD
USD	EUR	26.06.2014	1.3605000000000	62075 USD's	USD

USD	EUR	12.04.2010	1.3591000000000	971 USD's	EUR

I have scenarios like above a lot. Sample described here

For the first two lines:

I have EUR  to BRL = 2.99 (i.e 1 EUR = 2.99 BRL) and my DocCurrency is USD.

And I have EUR to USD = 1.3605 (i.e 1 EUR = 1.3605 USD)

Now i need to pay the amount in USD's and need to convert from USD to BRL

so i need to convert from USD to BRL for that particular date (26.06.2014) dynmically in qlik.

example:  1EUR = 2.99 BRL

2.99 BRL = 1.3605 USD

then USD = 2.99/1.3605 USD's

In excel i have converted USD to BRL as below:

Amount DC * (EUR to BRL) \( EUR-USD)

i.e  62075 * 2.99/1.3605 

But in qlik i need to change dynamically.

if issue is already resolved then no issue

i thought you need to use Input box and need to create variables.

i mean you can enter the USD or BRL values in your input box

then our variables will read those values from input box

in expression you can calculate based on those variables.
