Hi All,
I'm trying to have the legend on bottom center for a Bar graph, tried Ctrl+Shift it didn't help. Is there any alternate way to achieve this.
Can any one suggest macro's for this one.
Thanks
May be this?
Hi,
It's not suggestible to use a macro to resolve this, as per my understanding there's no possibility to align the legend horizontally. It's better to reduce the height of your bar graph using Ctrl+Shift, and position your legend below the graph.

Thats the better option . you can do one thing create a new chart and try to do the same thing it will work properly
because its a kind of bug i also faced this many times ..once u create the new chart then it will work fine
No need to write macros or recreate your chart when the legend goes haywire using Ctrl-Shift-Drag too much. Just use the reset buttons in Chart->Properties->General and try again with the same chart.
Note that trying to get your legend to display horizontally is tricky business. It does require some patience and a large amount of persistence.
See here for an all-in-one explanation: Re: Alining chart legend horizontally at the bottom, so they are next to each other
All you have to do is go to chart properties --> general --> reset user sizing & reset user docking...then drag the legends to the left bottom...
I think Horizontal Display not possible, we can show only vertically like below.
@Raju Kanuuri if you drag it to the exact left bottom[ after resetting dock and user setting], you will see the box expanding horizontally thatz when you can leave the legend.. below image for reference
Hello Saloni,
I know that, Bottom left side Horizontal display possible, but he wants Bottom middle.
He clearly mentioned Legend position - Bottom center.
