I am getting 'Out of object memory', while creating a 'Straight Table'.
I have only 0.1 millon of records having 12 columns.
If I am taking 5 columns, generating the tables, taking all 10 columns failing to generate the table and giving 'out of object memory'
Memory button on General tab remains deactiveted in Straight Table.
How to rectify this error.
Go to User Preferences>>Objects>>
Enable the Checkbox "Ignore calculation Limits."
Refer to page 125 and 126 of Qlikview reference manual.
In these cases check out the modelling or the linking between the tables if the resultant table was built from 2 or more tables.
In the case, all the fields are from the same table: check the expressions you used in the straight table and the Order of the dimentions used.
Please revert in case you didnt get the solution.
Thanks and Regards
I am not getting what is solution are you suggesting. In my case, there is resultant table built from 5 tables.
I am not using any expression.
Samir, could you attach an example doc?
A straight table with 12 dimensions and no expression shouldn't show any data. There seems to be a little confusion. What I think Rahul is suggesting is that the data model and/or table can likely be optimized.
I am using QlikView 10 version, in this there no name of "Ignore calculation Limits".
Can you suggest me where can i find in Qlikview10.
In QlikView 10 u vil not be able to find this option.I think its a Bug in it.
I mean to say that:
1. You have to check the linking between the tables from which your Resultant table is built from.
2. If you dont use any Expression, then how could you built the Straight table.
Please clarify and as per Mr Sunden said, kindly attach any demo file for our better understanding...
