Cannot enter the password for pg_dump.exe command to backup Qlik Sense Repository Database

No password is displayed during database backup using the command pg_dump.exe  -h localhost -p 4432 -U postgres -b 

Environment

• Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows  

Resolution

Even if nothing is shown on-screen, and the cursor does not move, the typed text is still entered. Then, pressing enter will accept the (unseen) password.
