Problem Description

Follow the steps below to change the default TAC port.

 

Solution

To change the default TAC server port:

  1. Stop Tomcat (if it is running).
  2. Navigate to the Talend installation folder\tac\apache-tomcat\conf\server.xml file.

  3. Find the following section and change the connector port 8080 to any open port.

    <Connector port="8080" protocol="HTTP/1.1"
        connectionTimeout="20000"
        redirectPort="8443" />
  4. Restart Tomcat and TAC.
