This article describes the steps for sending User Assignment log files to Qlik. The procedure should be followed when you deploy a Qlik Sense Enterprise license that has been approved by Qlik for Long Term Offline Activation.
Environment
Steps
- Verify that the Service Dispatcher configuration file includes the required offline feature tag.
Qlik Sense file location:
C:\Program Files\Qlik\Sense\ServiceDispatcher\services.conf
QlikView file location:
C:\Program Files\QlikView\ServiceDispatcher\services.conf
Locate the -offline tag in the licenses.parameters section
[licenses.parameters]
-qsefw-mode
-app-settings="..\Licenses\appsettings.json"
-offline
If it is not set, then Long Term offline license mode has not been activated. For details see Long term offline use for Qlik Sense and QlikView Signed Licenses.
- Generate the audit logs by opening the following link in a web browser (Chrome recommended): https://hostname:9200/v1/licenses/auditlogs
Important: It's need to open the Web Browser (Chrome) with the Qlik Sense service account
The above should be performed from the machine running both Qlik Sense Enterprise (QSE) and Qlik License Service (QLS). Qlik License Service must be running in offline mode with an offline approved license.
A JSON log file will be created and automatically downloaded in the user's download folder.
- Go to https://license.qlikcloud.com/audit
- Paste your Qlik Sense Enterprise Signed License Key in the text box and drag and drop the JSON file previously downloaded in the Audit log file section.
- Click on the Upload button and the following details will then be displayed:
