Opening Ajax in IE mode is no longer available on Qlikview May 2023 (12.80)

Opening QlikView documents with AJAX using IE mode is no longer possible beginning with QlikView May 2023. The following error is displayed:

"Microsoft Internet Explorer is not a supported browser. If you are using Microsoft Edge you need to exit Internet Explorer mode. This can be done by right-clicking on browser tab and selecting 'Exit tab from Internet Explorer mode'"

Resolution

Exit IE mode. To do so:

1. Right-click the tab in which the error is displayed
2. Click Exit tab from Internet Explorer mode
   
   

Cause 

Internet Explorer (either Edge IE mode) is no longer supported with Ajax.
