Qlik Cloud report with subscription: variables do not get updated in reports, when their value change

• A user subscribes to a sheet or chart that references a variable.
• When the variable changes, the report is still delivered with the old value.
• The Qlik Sense app, on the other hand, shows the correct value when opened.

Resolution

This is a current limitation.
Variables are among the settings that are only saved (as value, not as formulas) when the subscription is saved.

The subscription report will continue to use first value.

We have an improvement planned to include variables as formulas planned, but currently no precise ETA.
