Qlik Replicate 2024.5 GA Build 144: Store Changes using the new use_manipulation_pk_for_apply Option

With Store Changes (see Change Processing) turned on for CDC tasks, Qlik Replicate tasks may crash or stop unexpectedly with the new feature use_manipulation_pk_for_apply enabled.

The following errors may be logged in the task log:

Resolution

Fix Version

Upgrade to 2024.5 SP02 (for Windows and Linux) when available.

Workaround

To work around the issue:

1. Go to Task Settings...
2. Open the Full Load tab
3. In Full Load Settings set If target table already exists: DROP and CREATE table
   
   
   
   
4. Back in Task Settings... open the More Options tab
5. Add the following feature:
   
   use_manipulation_pk_for_apply
   value: Off

I can confirm this works - especially the use_manipulation_pk_for_apply OFF option.
