Qlik Replicate services (Qlik Replicate Server or Qlik Replicate UI Service) may fail to start after an upgrade. Starting the services fails with:
The Qlik Replicate Server service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the Qlik Replicate Server service to connect.
The Windows Event logs show:
Description: the process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.
Exception Info: System.IO.IOException

Resolution
Verify if the drive Qlik Replicate is installed on is managed by, for example, BitLocker. Disable BitLocker or set up exceptions and start the services again.
