Qlik Reporting connector: Selections not applied when the field has both text and number as value

The field selections are not getting applied using Add Selection To Sheet (Qlik Reporting connector) blocks for fields that have text and numeric values.

The issue occurs for a field with a field tag as $text which translates  to "No values in the field are numeric." The numeric value will not be applied using the block Add Selection To Sheet. 

The determination is currently automatic based on the value and this is as per design. The block is not looking at the type of variable, so if a number is coming through as a string that will cause this behavior.

Workaround

We recommend cleaning the data before inputting it.
