Qlik Sense: some links between nodes are not displayed when using network chart (bundle extension)

When using the network chart (bundle extension), you may notice that some links between nodes are not displayed even if those nodes have parent-node.

  • Qlik Sense (all versions)

Resolution

Reported defect QB-2595 was closed by R&D as WAD  (working as designed) with below explanation:

"The network chart is capped at 1400 lines in its data, which is due to both performance and the data fetch limit of 10000 cells from engine (max columns is 7, 7*1400 = 9800)"

A documentation bug "HLP-8668" was created.

Workaround:

Use selections to limit the displayed data.
