During the installation of QlikView Desktop, the Windows Installer may be unable to locate the .msi file (a component of the installation .exe file)
If this occurs, the below image will be displayed, and the installation cannot progress.

Resolution
Navigate to %Users%\Username\App Data\Local\QlikTech Installations\<latest timestamp>\QlikViewXX.msi* and launch the .msi file.
