Authorizations are required to use the SQL Connectors. Qlik provides roles that contain the necessary authorizations, though which roles you need depends on the SAP system.
Overview
QTQVCADMIN role is required for users who perform Qlik transactions in the SAP GUI.
This role was required by the following connectors: SAP SQL Connector, SAP BW Connector, SAP OLAP Connector, SAP Bex Connector, SAP Infoprovider Connector, SAP Query Connector, SAP Report Connector, and SAP Extractor Connector.
QTQVCACCESS role is used by a connector back-end user who performs extraction jobs from Qlik.
This role was required by the following connectors: SAP SQL Connector, SAP BW Connector, SAP OLAP Connector, SAP Bex Connector, SAP Infoprovider Connector, SAP Query Connector, SAP Report Connector, and SAP Extractor Connector.
QTQVCBWACCESS role is to be used by OLAP, DSO/ODS, BEx, and InfoProvider connectors back-end users for doing extraction jobs on an SAP BI/BW system

QTQVCEXTRACTOR role is to be used by the Extractor connector Back-end user for performing extraction jobs from Qlik.

QTQVCEXTRADM role is used to activate and generate the extractors in an SAP system. It can also be used to test Extractors in the SAP system and to monitor Extractor jobs.
This role was required by the following connectors: SAP Extractor Connector.
QTQVCEXTRSETUP role can be used to create, delete, and verify the setup of the logical system in an SAP system for later use by the Extractor connector. It can also be used for administration tasks such as migrating Extractors and the Extractor environment.
