Special Characters In Qlik Sense

Qlik Sense allows special characters in input fields (sheet names, etc..). Special characters are considered characters such as:  ~!@#$%^&* 

Environment:

Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows 
Qlik Sense Business 
Qlik Cloud 

The same characters may not be allowed in other places, based on contextual suitability. For example, there are limitations in Qlik Sense app names, as these comply with file naming requirements to be compatible with usages in Qlik Sense desktop.  



As best practice to mitigate vulnerability risk, e.g. XSS and code injection, special characters are always encoded at output.
